hey i'm going to respond here, about our "discussion" hahaha my comment page was looking so long and ugly hahaha
But yah you're right, I don't know why I was disagreeing because it was what you said... I think it was only the attitude that I held it at the differed. I don't think the benefits weigh heavy enough in the long run.
As for people taking what they're good at ( like me? Or trying to haha ) money is an issue for many people as well and they don't want to fail... and logically speaking, if your diploma most likely will not benefit you in what you want to do as career, why work so hard for what you won't take in or are not interested in and risk wasting $ just to have the same outcome as the person who did the opposite? For you I know you have a thirst for knowledge so I can understand why - a lot of things interest you.
As well, due to my situation I have to think things differently.
But as you know, I do agree with you... Why take something if you're mind's not open to it. I just disagree on your opinion that people take only what theyre good at. Cause if that were true... I think their minds would be more open. I think people take what they need to get what they want. Not what they're good at particularly. I do think they challenge themselves, but not in openmindness.
And the kid thing... hmm yah maybe? I dont think thats the purpose of school, but it can be a benefit? But the problem is... I think that's your solely your view point. Cause a lot of people step into school not bsing around cause it costs money now and it's more serious. I think they are already thinking differently ( most people anyway ). For those that hold TOTALLY don't hold that attitude... and mess around they probably act immature in many aspects of life.
